You will describe things with look, sound, feel, taste and smell. You will also say what things are made of.

Explanation

• After look, sound, feel, taste and smell, use an adjective: "It sounds fantastic."
• To compare, use like and a noun: "It looks like a huge tent."
• To ask about appearance, say: "What does it look like?"
• Use made of to name the material.
• Good is an adjective. Well is not.

Examples

1. The soup smells good.
2. It tastes like a lemon.
3. The table is made of wood.

Remember!

• Sense verb + adjective: "It looks beautiful."
• Sense verb + like + noun: "It looks like a tent."
• Do not use an adverb after sound. Do not say "It sounds greatly."
