What are we learning today?

You will learn to say your ideas clearly when you work with a partner, a group or the class.

Explanation

• Use short, full sentences.
• Speak in a clear voice.
• Say one idea in each sentence.
• Ask a question, then listen to the answer.
• Give the question back with "What about you?".
• Use "but" to show that two things are different.

Examples

1. Can you dance? - No, I can't. Can you sing?
2. Tobilay walks to school but I go by bus.
3. What's your favourite music? - Hip-hop. What about you?
