Following a Long Conversation

You will learn how to follow a long conversation like a story.

Explanation

• Ask: Who? Where? What happens next?
• Make short notes in order: first, then, finally.
• You do not need to remember every word.
• Do not stop when you hear a new word.

Examples

1. Matt is in a shop. He says, "I'd like to buy some trainers."
2. He asks, "Have you got anything in blue?" Then he asks, "Can I try them on?"
3. His size is 40. The trainers cost 59.99 pounds. He says, "I'll take them!"

Remember!

• Do not mix up prices and sizes.
• "I'll take them!" means he decides to buy.
