• People can think differently. That is normal.
• Listen to the other person.
• Say your view politely.
• Do not laugh at other people.
• A polite "no" is fine.

Examples

1. I see your point, but I'd prefer a park.
2. I'd prefer to use the land for something else.
3. Would you like to go to the new shopping centre? I'm sorry, I can't.

Remember!

• Do not say that the other person is silly.
• Give a reason, not only "I don't like it".
