Explanation

• Read the sentence before the word and the sentence after it.
• Think about the situation.
• Choose the word that fits the meaning.
• You do not need to know every word.

Examples

1. "There was ... for people to grow plants." The meaning is "no place", so the word is "nowhere".
2. "Empty land that ... uses." The word is "nobody".
3. "What size are you?" "I'm a size 40." Size is a number for clothes or shoes.
