What are we learning today?

You will learn how to plan, write, correct and check a short text.

Explanation

• Good writing has four stages: plan, write, correct, check.
• First, make notes. Write the topic, your first opinion, other people's opinion and a prediction.
• Making notes helps you put your ideas in order.
• Then write. Use phrases like "In the future, ..." and "Some people think that ...".
• Then read your text slowly. Look for capital letters, full stops and spelling.
• Ask a teacher or a partner to read it too.

1. In the future, TV will be on our phones.
2. In my opinion, books will not disappear.
3. We won't have Wi-Fi in our clothes.

Remember!

• Make notes before you write.
• After will or won't, use a verb without "to": "will go", not "will to go".
