Giving a Good Argument

You will give your opinion and support it with a reason and an example.

Explanation

• A good argument has three parts: opinion, reason and example.
• "I like it" is not enough. You need a reason.
• The reason must fit your opinion.
• Use this template: I think ... is a good job for me because ... For example, ...

Examples

1. I want to be a nurse because you help people.
2. A pilot is a good job because you travel to many countries.
3. I want to be a chef because I love cooking. For example, I cook for my family.

Remember!

• Opinion first, then reason, then example.
• Use "because" for the reason.
