What are we learning today?

You will say your ideas clearly in pairs and groups. You will use short and correct sentences.

Explanation

• Use short sentences.
• Say one idea at a time.
• Put the words in the right order: who, what, then where or when.
• Speak slowly and keep your voice steady.
• Use the link words "and", "but" and "because".
• Practise a model conversation. It helps you speak clearly.

Examples

1. My grandma is the oldest person in our family.
2. Our town is bigger than Boris' town.
3. I'm tall, but my brother is taller.

Remember!

• The subject goes at the beginning of the sentence.
• Short sentences are clear sentences.
