Understanding Classroom Commands

What are we learning today?

You will understand the order of classroom commands. You will know what to do first, next and last.

Explanation

Many tasks have two or three commands. For example: Write the words. Listen and check. Work with a partner.

Follow four steps.

1. Read the first verb.
2. Look at the picture or the box.
3. Finish the task.
4. Check your answers.

A tick, a circle or a line can mean the same as Match, Circle or Write.

Examples

1. Write the words. Listen and check.
2. Find the words in the box in the picture.
3. Look at the board. Copy the date. Read it aloud.

• Do the commands in the right order.
• Use the picture and the box.
• Ask when a verb is new.
