What are we learning today?

You will learn words for accidents and body parts. You will use them in correct sentences.

Explanation

  • Learn a verb with its noun: cut your finger, burn your hand, bang your head.
  • Use my, her, his or your with body parts. Do not use "the".
  • Body words: elbow, ankle, shoulder, neck, knee, wrist, back, chest.
  • Use have or has with a past participle: She has broken her wrist.
  • A compound noun has two words with one meaning. A fishing boat is a boat for fishing.

Examples

  1. I have cut my finger.
  2. My brother tripped over the dog and banged his knee.
  3. Firewood is wood that you use to make a fire.
