What are we learning today?

You will learn to write a short message in three steps.

Explanation

• Step 1: Plan. Make notes. Where can't I go? Why can't I go? What new plan do I suggest?
• Step 2: Write. Use a frame: "I'm really sorry but I'm afraid I can't ... because ... Could we meet another day?"
• Step 3: Check. Is your language polite? Is the information from your notes? Then check spelling and punctuation.
• Say sorry, give a reason and make a new plan.

1. I'm really sorry but I'm afraid I can't come because I've had an accident.
2. Could we meet another day?
3. I hope you have a fantastic time!
