Prepositions of Time and Place

What are we learning today?

You will learn how to use small words for time, place and direction.

Explanation

• Time: on Saturday, in the evening, at night, from 10.00 to 11.30, until 1998.
• Place: in Dubai, at the mall, on the ice rink.
• Direction: go to the cinema, walk to the centre.
• Other phrases: by bus, with a pen, interested in, good at.
• Learn each phrase together with its word.

Examples

1. I wasn't interested in the shops.
2. We arrived at the mall in the evening.
3. Would you like to go to my house after school?

Remember!

• Say "on Saturday", not "in Saturday".
• Say "interested in", not "interested on".
