Talking About Yourself and Others

What are we learning today?

You will tell people about yourself and about other people. You will give a reason or a detail.

Explanation

• Use a pattern and add a reason with "because".
• Start like this: My best subject is ... because ...
• You can also say: I enjoy ... classes because ...
• Use "going to" for plans.
• For one other person, add -s to the verb: he lives, she wants.

Examples

1. My best subject is Biology because it's interesting.
2. After this class, my classmates and I are going to have lunch.
3. My friend Dana likes Art. She is going to study design.

Remember!

• Say "He wants", not "He want".
• Every sentence needs a verb.
• Use "going to" for plans: I am going to ...
