Конспект
What are we learning today?
You will invent a strange story and plan a comic.
Explanation
- Imagination means you invent a story, a character or a place.
- Your story can be true or invented.
- Plan it: when, where, who, beginning, middle and end.
- Use the past continuous for the scene: It was raining.
- Use the past simple for events: The door opened.
- Add feelings: She was frightened.
- To make a comic, start with the plot. Then sketch, add words and colour.
Examples
- It was raining when the door opened.
- The bag belonged to a traveller who was running away from a thief.
- I felt surprised.
Remember!
- Give your story a beginning, a middle and an end.
- Do not mix present and past.
