What are we learning today?

You will learn the right format for an email, an article and a recipe.

Explanation

• An email begins with a greeting: "Hi Ted,". It ends with a closing sentence, "Sorry again." and your name.
• A magazine article has a headline, a short story with facts and quotes in inverted commas.
• A recipe has a list of things you need. Then it has steps with order words: first, then, next.
• Choose the format that fits the task.

Examples

1. Hi Aru, ... Best wishes, Dana
2. First, boil the meat. Then add the salt.
3. To make it, you need an egg, salt and water.

Remember!

• Email: a greeting at the start and your name at the end.
• Recipe: a list and order words.
