You will learn to talk about your habits and about what you did yesterday.

Explanation

• Use the present simple for habits and routines.
• Add -s with he, she and it: he travels.
• Use the past simple for a finished day.
• Regular verbs end in -ed: walked, arrived.
• Irregular verbs change: go - went, take - took.
• Habit words: every day, usually.
• Past words: yesterday, last week, two years ago.

Examples

1. I usually walk to school, but yesterday I took the bus.
2. Everybody uses public transport.
3. I went to the USA a year ago.

Remember!

• Do not use the present simple with yesterday.
• Do not add -ed to irregular verbs.
