What are we learning today?

You will learn to ask questions with how often, how long and whose.

Explanation

• How often ...? asks how many times. Answers: once a week, every day, never.
• How long ...? asks about time. The journey was only 45 minutes.
• Whose ...? asks who owns something. Answers: It's Aru's. It's mine.
• Word order: question word + do, does or did + subject + verb.

Examples

1. How often do you take the bus? - Every day.
2. How long did David's journey take? - 45 minutes.
3. Whose ladder is it? - It's my grandad's.

Remember!

• Do not forget do, does or did in the question.
• Whose asks about an owner. Who's means "who is".
