Planning and Writing an Email

What are we learning today?

You will learn four steps for good writing. You will write an informal email about your school.

Explanation

• Plan: make notes about your school, for example size, age of pupils, uniform and time.
• Write: use your notes, for example "We wear a grey and white uniform."
• Edit: make the email informal. Start with "Hi," and end with "Bye for now!"
• Check: is the information in the email? Are spelling, grammar and punctuation correct?

2. The school day starts at 8.30 and finishes at 2.30.
3. Here's a photo of my school.
