What are we learning today?

You will say what people are doing now. You will also talk about a plan for today.

Explanation

• Use am, is or are and a verb with -ing.
• Say what people are doing now: My sister is sitting here.
• Make a negative with not: He isn't standing.
• Make a question with the verb first: Is she sitting?
• You can talk about a plan: I'm playing a basketball match today.
• Spelling: sit, sitting. Write, writing. Play, playing.

Examples

1. My granddad is standing behind them.
2. Look! It's raining.
3. He isn't reading. He is writing.

Remember!

• Do not forget am, is or are.
• Write sitting with two t's.
