What are we learning today?

You will learn three steps for good writing. With your teacher, you will plan, write and check an email.

Explanation

• Plan: make notes. Think about how to start, what to answer and what to suggest.
• Write: use phrases like "Hi ...", "Would you like to ...?" and "Let me know."
• Check: look at a, an, some and any. Look at the information and the spelling.
• Read your text aloud.

Examples

1. Begin: Hi Danny,
2. Make a suggestion: Perhaps you could organise a coffee morning.
3. Ask for a reply: Let me know.
