What are we learning today?

You will compare people and things. You will use the comparative and the superlative.

Explanation

• Short adjectives take -er and -est: tall, taller, the tallest.
• Double the last letter in big: bigger, the biggest.
• With -y, change y to i: curly, curlier, the curliest.
• Long adjectives take more and the most: more beautiful, the most beautiful.
• Some are irregular: good, better, the best.
• Use than to compare two things.
