Whose, How Often, How Long

What are we learning today?

You will ask and answer questions with whose, how often and how long.

Explanation

• Whose asks about the owner.
• How often asks about frequency. Answers are every day, twice a week, once a month, sometimes or never.
• How long asks about time. The answer can be forty-five minutes.
• Word order with do: question word + do or does + subject + verb. How often do you swim?
• With is or are: question word + is or are + subject. How long is the lesson?

1. Whose pen is this? It's Dana's.
2. How often do you go there?
3. How long is the lesson? Forty-five minutes.
