What are we learning today?

You will learn the features of a blog and an email. You will also learn about extreme adjectives and the prefix un-.

Explanation

• A blog has a title, an author and a date. It tells a personal story.
• An email has a greeting and friendly information. It asks for a reply and has a closing.
• Extreme adjectives are amazing, awful, boiling, freezing and huge.
• Use absolutely with them, not very.
• The prefix un- gives the opposite meaning.

Examples

1. Hi Annie, ... Can you let me know? See you soon, Joey.
2. absolutely huge, absolutely freezing
3. usual and unusual, tidy and untidy, happy and unhappy

• Say absolutely freezing, not very freezing.
• Write unhappy, not inhappy.
