Explanation

Learn words in groups.

• Animals: rabbit (double b), snow leopard (-eo-), wolf (plural: wolves).
• Countryside: hedge, valley (double l), wood, wildlife.
• Comparatives: big - bigger, hot - hotter, happy - happier, noisy - noisier.

Use four steps: look, cover, write, check. Keep a list of words you spell wrongly.

1. rabbit, not "rabit"
2. valley, not "vally"

• Change y to i: happy - happier.
