What are we learning today?

You will learn to write a short story about the past.

Explanation

• Use the past simple.
• Regular verbs end in -ed: clean, cleaned.
• Irregular verbs change: get, got; have, had; go, went.
• Use time expressions: this morning, yesterday, last weekend, four days ago, when I was little.
• Use story words: at first, then, finally.

Examples

1. I usually do my homework before dinner but yesterday I did my homework after dinner.
2. Yesterday I got up at 7 am. I cleaned my room and then I went to school.
3. At first, Mickey said no. Finally, he gave the man his address.
