All and Other

What are we learning today?

You will learn to use "all" and "other" in sentences.

Explanation

• "All" means the whole group or amount: all the cars, all cities.
• "Other" means different ones of the same kind.
• Use "other" with a plural noun: other cities.
• With a singular noun use "another": another city.
• "Another" is "an" + "other".

Examples

1. All the children ride bikes. Other pupils walk.
2. Other cities should have a look.
3. I want another ticket.

Remember!

• Say "other cities", not "others cities".
• Say "another", not "an other".
• Do not use "all" with a singular noun, such as "all city".
