What are we learning today?

You will name things in the classroom and say where they are.

Explanation

• Classroom words: bag, board, desk, dictionary, laptop, notebook, pen, pencil, ruler.
• Place words: behind, in, in front of, between, next to, on.
• To ask, say: "Where's the + thing?"
• To answer, say: "It's + place word + place."
• To show who owns a thing, add 's: my brother's laptop.

Examples

1. Where's the notebook? It's on the desk.
2. Where's the board? It's behind the teacher.
3. My sister's bike is new.

Remember!

• Use "next to" for a thing that is near another thing.
• The plural of sheep is sheep. The plural of fish is fish.
• Do not say "sheeps" or "fishes".
