What are we learning today?

You will say your ideas clearly. You will do it in a pair, in a group and in front of the class.

Explanation

Speak clearly. Use short sentences. Speak slowly. Say one idea at a time.

Follow four steps.

1. Think.
2. Say a sentence with a verb.
3. Add one detail.
4. Listen to your partner and answer.

In front of the class, stand up and look at people. You can start: I want to tell you about ...

Examples

1. Are you David? - No, I'm not. I'm Timur.
2. On school days I get up at 7 o'clock.
3. I live in Almaty. I have breakfast at 7.

Remember!

• Do not speak too fast or too quietly.
• Say a whole sentence, not one word.
• Look at your partner.
