Describing a Person

What are we learning today?

You will learn to write true facts about a person. You will write about name, age, family, looks and character.

Explanation

• Say who the person is. Say how old he or she is.
• Use "He is" or "She is" with a word like tall, young or funny.
• Use "He has got" or "She has got" for hair and eyes.
• Use "taller than" to compare people.
• Write facts first. Then add one opinion with very or quite.

Examples

1. David is taller than me.
2. He's got dark hair and green eyes.
3. My friend Aida is 11. She has short fair hair.

Remember!

• Age and hair are facts. Nice is an opinion.
• Use "has got" with he and she.
