What are we learning today?

You will learn three steps to write about your best friend. The steps are plan, write and check.

Explanation

• Plan: make notes in a table. Write the name, age, home and description.
• Write: use your notes. Use words like very, quite, really and not very.
• Check: do you have the information from your notes? Do you have these words? Are the spelling and grammar correct?
• Then read your text aloud and fix the mistakes.

Examples

1. My best friend is my brother, David. He's 20.
2. He's very intelligent, and quite funny, too!
3. Fix this: He have got dark hair. Write: He has got dark hair.

Remember!

• Do not start without notes.
• Do not skip the check.
• Use words like very and quite.
