What are we learning today?

You will use the right format for an animal description, a conversation and an article.

Explanation

Each kind of writing has its own format.

• An animal description has a title, the author's name and short paragraphs. Use the present simple.
• A conversation shows the speaker's name before each line.
• An article has a title, short paragraphs and sometimes a fact box. Write the title first.

Examples

1. Title: All about elephants. Paragraph 1: where they live.
2. Jane: Hi! What's your name?
3. FACT! A team of huskies can travel over 150 km in one day.

Remember!

• Do not forget the title.
• Use the present simple for general facts.
