Writing About Feelings and Opinions

You will learn how to write about your feelings and opinions.

Explanation

• Write five or six sentences.
• Give a feeling, a reason and an example.
• Use these phrases: I think, I love, I'd like to, I'd prefer to, in my opinion.
• Always give a reason with "because".
• Use a strong word for a strong feeling. "Freezing" is stronger than "cold". You can say "absolutely freezing".

Examples

1. I think shopping is awful because it is so boring.
2. I would prefer to help animals because I have a cat.
3. I'd like to wear a red nose because it is fun.

Remember!

• After "would like" or "would prefer", use "to" and the verb.
• Do not write only facts. Add your feelings.
